What they needed

Doddl needed a faster, easier-to-manage store that could support a growing product range and customers beyond the UK.

What Seen It delivered

Seen It planned the move, redesigned the buying journey and delivered a flexible Shopify Plus store built for the team to manage and grow.

The challenge

Doddl had outgrown WooCommerce. Every product launch meant developer time, the site was slow on mobile and the team could not make simple changes on their own.

They were also selling into new countries with no clean way to handle currencies, shipping rules or local content.

How Seen It approached it

  1. 01

    Discovery first

We ran workshops with the Doddl team, went through their analytics and mapped every step a customer takes from first click to reorder. That gave us a shortlist of the things actually costing them sales.

  2. 02

    A journey rebuilt around parents

Product pages were rewritten around age, stage and use, with clearer imagery, bundles and reassurance where people were dropping out.

  3. 03

A clean move to Shopify Plus

Products, customers, orders and SEO were migrated with redirects in place, then rebuilt on a flexible theme the team can edit without us.

  4. 04

Built for more than one market

Shopify Markets was set up for currencies, tax and shipping so new countries can be switched on in a day, not a quarter.

The outcome

  • Revenue up 19% and average order value up 22.1% against the same period on the old store.
  • The internal team now ships campaigns and new products without waiting on developers.
  • International sales became a real channel rather than an occasional order.

The move was painless and the numbers speak for themselves. We can finally run the store ourselves.
